A Year of Laura Kelly dies for Ellison Education

I am so thrilled to share “A Year of Laura Kelly dies for Ellison Education”.  As this year comes to an end, people everywhere are looking ahead and planning what comes next.  Teachers, artists, moms and makers are all getting out their calendars and dreaming up ideas and ways to make the next year the best ever.  When I originally designed the twelve dies that make up a “calendar set” it was with the intention of having darling shapes to create bulletin board calendars.  While they are fantastic for that purpose, they have turned out to be used in so so many other creative ways!  Here are some of the projects I have created in the past year or so with the dies.

Laura Kelly Calendar Die Projects

I simply love how versatile the dies are.  They cut through paper, card stock, chipboard, felt, fabric, magnet paper, foam, sponge paper, wax paper, cardboard and so much more.  I LOVE that they can be used to create learning activities, decorate classrooms AND come home to make crafty projects galore.  Here they are…all twelve.

For December, the Santa hat is so super fun!  I used it this month in a project over on Kunin Group where I am on the Dream Team creating with amazing felt.  You can check it out HERE.

Here are some close up views of some of the things I cut out using the dies.  You will see felt, paper, card stock and sponge paper!

Throughout 2017, I will be sharing projects each month using the die that was created to correspond.  The winter hat is perfect for January here in Colorado where it is cold and snowy!  I can’t wait to use it to show you how to make a learning game, a craft and a party favor!
