Easy DIY Holiday Name Cards
These Easy DIY Holiday Name Cards are perfect for any holiday or celebration. They can be made for table settings as place cards or used on goody bags and gifts. Handmade touches to parties and gatherings makes them just that much more special. The best thing about DIY is that it can be customized and personalized. This post is sponsored by Therm-O-Web but the ideas and opinions are my own.
While the ones I am sharing in the tutorial are spring/Easter themed, I am going to share a bunch of SUPER easy ideas for you too.
What do you need to make Easy DIY Holiday Name Cards
- Therm-O-Web Tape Runner XL
- Therm-O-Web Easy Tear Tape (1/4 inch)
- Scrapbook Paper in Desired Patterns/Colors
- Fold Over or Flat Cards (Depending on Desired Outcome)
Steps to make Easy DIY Holiday Name Cards
First, cut out the pieces that create the theme for your name cards. For this example, I am using carrots. Size your cut outs based on the size of the final card to which they will be adhered. Additionally, if your card is going in an envelope make sure the creation being attached fits.
Second, I attached the paper pieces together with a Therm-O-Web Permanent Tape Runner XL.
If you use a variety of different patterns for your place card decorations, they will all look a little different which is quite fun.
This is Easy-Tear Tape and it is AWesOME. It truly tears so easy and hold with such strength. It is perfect for paper craft projects that are going to be handled and get use.
Third, on the back of the carrot, apply a piece of Easy-Tear Tape the length of the card to which it is being attached.
Next, peel off the liner and stick the carrots to the cards. Add bunny tags too if you want. you can download them FREE right HERE.

Mostly, I LOVE this one. To attach the twine for the balloon, I used the Easy-Tear Tape.

I love these! They’re such a cute idea for place setting at a kids’ table for Easter or at Sunday school Easter Sunday. Thanks for sharing with us on Happiness is Homemade at LifeasaLEOWife.com. I’d love if you’d come by & share on our newest link party, Craft Creators, as well. It’s open Thursdays at 6am CST thru Mondays at 11:59pm. I think the readers of that party would love to see this. Hope to see you there!
