Create darling handmade greeting cards with beautiful foil colors and stamped sentiments.
Every time I make handmade cards, I am so inspired to connect with people that I love – whether sending a handwritten message through the mail or attaching it to a gift. Adding the sparkle of foil and the adorable images that can be created with stamping makes a handmade card so very special. I can’t wait to show you three different cards that were made with my papers and foil that I designed for Therm-O-Web with their new HELLO stamp/die sets.

How to Use a Deco Foil Stamp and Die Set
These sets are super awesome because they allow you to make a perfect die cut with a stamped image. The word HELLO is an invitation to connect, a greeting. It also is used as an exclamation of surprise, wonder, elation, etc. I chose this sentiments because I LOVE it.
Step One
Stamp the image (HELLO) onto the card stock of choice. I love kraft paper so used this color.
Step Two
Tape the die using Pixie Tape around the stamped image, making sure that the tape is NOT on the inside of the die. This easy-release, translucent, removable tape doesn’t leave any adhesive residue behind which makes it perfect for paper crafts Additionaly, iCraft Pixie Tape peels cleanly without tearing paper, yet is durable enough for a wide range of creative techniques.
NOTE: Pixie Tape is GREAT when using stencils too!
Step Three
Run the die through the die-cut machine. Once it has gone through, the stamped image will have a perfect cut around it and be ready to use on a card.
Making A Card
To make a perfectly beautiful card, it is always a good idea to add sparkle and design with foil. I LOVE the designs of toner sheets and the colors of foil I designed for Therm-O-Web, especially the Flamingo Pink color. PINK is my favorite. For this card set, I used the Sweet Swirls toner sheets. For more information about using the foil with a heat laminator, visit this post.
It is also fun to create patterns and designs with clear stamps. These are from the Kindness on Purpose set and I Iike to call them confettis.
Therm-O-Web has the best tape runner! I use it as my adhesive for almost all paper crafting projects. When you put the pieces together (die cuts, foiled papers and stamped papers) – you can create so many amazing cards. I especially love how these all came together, including using the foil pieces after they were applied to the toner paper.
