Whip up a batch of this awesome mix then use the free printable below to make it into a gift.
We love snacks! We love them at home, on the road and pretty much anywhere we go. This one is a favorite for sure by my family and my Girl Scout troop. Because in all honesty, who doesn’t love the mix of sweet and salty all combined in one yummy handful of awesomeness. This could be adapted to gluten-free with a cereal swap but for this recipe, the cereal doesn’t work for me. I often make an extra batch on the side customized for my needs. Let’s go through the steps on How to Make SMores Trail Mix.
Ingredients for S’Mores Snack Mix
- Mini Marshmallows
- Mini Pretzel Sticks
- Cinnamon Crunch Cereal
- Milk Duds or Whoppers Chocolate Candies (Or Both)
- Peanuts (Optional)
Directions
The first step is to measure out your ingredients. The funny thing about this recipe is you can do whatever amounts you want really. If you like the chocolate the most, add more candy. If salty is your thing – put in more pretzels. The recipe and the end of this post tells you how we make it. for the most part. It is a great way to start and then adapt as you see fit.
Add the following to one big bowl.
- 2 Cups Mini Pretzel Sticks
- 2 C Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal
- 1 C Mini Marshmallows
- 1 C Peanuts
- 1 C Chocolate Candies
It is fun to put the mini marshmallows on the ends of the pretzel rods to look like little s’mores sticks ready to go into the fire.
Mix the ingredients up to make the trail mix.
Serve with a side of fun. Add this adorable S’Mores word search printable game to the party. It is great for camping too.
