The last round of dies that I designed for Ellison Education make up a fabulous set of sea life. The shark die is simply darling! I am excited to share some shark projects and ideas using this super fun die and a few other dies for Ellison Education/Sizzix too.
I will start by sharing a “Back To School” bulletin board that shares the kids in the class on shark cards with places for parents to leave notes of special requests AND wish fishes too.
Google eyes always make things a little more exciting. I love the big eyes.
Each kid in the class has a shark card on the board. After that initial “meet the teacher” day, the cards can be reused in so many different ways. They could be put on desks to assign places or used to for weekly chore cards.
Sometimes parents have special requests. If a teacher has them write their requests down and put them in the folder on the board, she can review them later and respond. The “meet the teacher” time goes fast and doesn’t always allow for much one-on-one talk time.
If a teacher has special needs (items) for her room, she can put them on the fishies and add them to that section of the bulletin board. This fish is from the Pet Shop collection.
This Simple Sea Life banner by Michelle’s Party Plan-Its is so darling! It would be great for a party or to decorate a classroom doorway during a sea life unit.
Debra Quartermain is a super talented friend and designer, as well as a member of the Laura Kelly Design Team. She created this darling hoop art and has the tutorial on her blog.
Jennifer from KinderDrama is another member of the Laura Kelly Design Team. She is sharing this fabulous Shark Rock Decorating Kit using the die to make her container.
This fun Shark Chum game actually uses my FISH die for Ellison to create the beanbags. The shark is a MUCH larger version of the shark die.
Carolina Moore from 30 Minute Crafts has a great tutorial sharing how you can use the sea life dies with Oli-Fun to create die-cuts. You can watch it on YouTube.
Rina from Mothership Scrapbook Gal is on the Laura Kelly Design Team and she is also the owner of Crafty Happy Hour. She makes these darling card kits and sells them to crafters attending her events to make cards.
Shark Week is coming soon! If you are a shark enthusiast, you might just need to hop over to my store and buy the fun Shark Party Printable so you can create some fun party decor to celebrate and games to play.
If you are up for making Valentines in July, here is a super adorable one using the shark die.
I love this sea life project too, using the little crab from my Pet Shop collection.
Cheers to Sharks, Learning and Celebrating Ocean Life,
