There are so many ways to celebrate reading with Dr. Seuss.
Whether you are celebrating Read Across America Week or using Dr. Seuss for educational inspiration — these ideas should get you going. I teamed up with Beth from Creatively Beth (my crafting bestie) to share some of our best projects. My Favorite Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat Crafts
I want to start by sharing my favorite four Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat craft projects. Furthermore, they are all pretty much about Thing One and Thing Two because they are the silliest. Additionally, there is a great hat pillow that would be fun to use for so many things. Here they are!

Thing One and Two are just the best because they symbolize freedom and fun. You can make them in to:

Best Dr. Seuss Printables For Learning
Next, these free printables are all great for learning whether at home or in the classroom. I totally love the Ten Apples Up on Top resource. I feel like sometimes some of his books get overlooked and this is one of them. It is such a great story for counting. There are so many ways it can be used for math lessons and more. Ways to Use These Best Free Dr. Seuss Printables
You might have seen this list from me before but I think it is worth sharing over and over. Sometimes the people in the back need to hear things a few times, right? There are so many great ways to use free printables. Here are some of my favorites.
- Print them and mail in an envelope with a stamp. Snail mail rocks.
- Batch some up to make an activity book. This is great for a road trip!
- Print and use at a place setting on the table to create a conversation starter.
- Add them to goody bags. By the way, goody bags are not just for birthday parties.
- Package them up with your favorite markers and crayons to give as a gift.
- Drop a few off at the local coffee shop with fun pencils to spread some happy.
- Cut them up to make cards, gift wrap and decorations.
